About

Copywriter, Creative Director, Producer, Marketer

As a kid growing up in Bellmore, NY, I wanted to be a professional skateboarder.

After a broken foot, ankle and wrist, not to mention a noticeable lack of skills, I decided advertising might be safer.

I have questioned that decision ever since.

I began my career in advertising as a college sophomore of 19, fetching lunch and writing ads for Crews Quilty Thompson & Wylde, in Kingston, NY.

After graduation, I moved to New York City where I answered phones and rubbed elbows with some of the most talented people in the business at Levine Huntley Schmidt & Beaver. I followed with a brief stint on the account side at Bozell, while secretly writing ads for a variety of agencies throughout New York, including Kirshenbaum & Bond.

I spent the next few years bouncing from NY to LA to Miami, then back to LA, where I landed my dream job as a Copywriter at TBWA/Chiat Day.

The next two decades were spent in LA and OC ad scene, with stops at Saatchi & Saatchi, Campbell/Ewald and Rauxa.

I rose from Sr. Copywriter to ACD, CD and eventually ECD.

Eventually, I decided to try my hand one the client side, working at two tech start ups as an in-house Creative Director.

And as Start-ups often do, when they both failed, I decided to pivot once again, this time starting a production company, Industrious Films, which I've positioned as a direct to client, turn-key video solution.

So that brings me to today.

The world of advertising, marketing and production has changed drastically over the years - but one thing has remained the same. Hard work is the one true thing you can rely on. Not awards (I have earned many), not connections (I have even more), not even your resume.

So I work my ass off, I think fast, and I study my client’s business religiously.

And I never, ever take myself too seriously.

Perhaps I can be of service to your agency, company or service?
